Reflection Blog
Business oriented parents are who I think will be the most interested in my essay. I would even think specific age groups from 25-50 years old male and female. This group has the most to benefit from the internet because more parents are becoming computer oriented, with the help of better software applications and the World Wide Web. My topic is extremely compatible with many Web readers because everywhere you look today, teenagers are always using the internet for school, chat rooms, instant messaging, and much more. The parents have now developed a passion for monitoring their children’s activities on the computer. I am proud of my explanations and details between parents and teens internet usage. I tried to explain my reactions to the article to the best of my ability and also gave credit to the respected authors of my outside sources. I definitely would tweak my project by incorporating more details in each response to show how affective this article could really be. I should have talked about the future of parents and teens internet usage in my conclusion to interest the reader even further after they are done reading the essay. I would improve my sentences by proofreading each one to ensure that every sentence is well thought and presented accordingly. I really appreciate how my instructor comments on every single aspect of my project because her ideas helped to explain my thesis much better. Without her advice and very detailed comments, I don’t think my hypertext essay would not have turned out as good as I thought it was going to be. This topic works great because my determination to become a successful business-oriented parent, and hopefully one day my teenagers will show me a thing or two new about the internet. I feel that this article worked well with my topic of the internet and businesses for all of these reasons.

Drafting is part of the writing process. Nobody sits down and writes a perfect piece of prose on the first try, so it's important to me that I comment on my students' pieces at every step of the process. It's also actually fun for me to watch a piece of student writing evolve from the first draft into the final piece of polish prose (and probably a little nerdy!).
